Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Masonry Apprentice to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in masonry and hardscape construction. The apprentice will work alongside experienced installers to assist with the installation of pavers, brick, stone, and other exterior masonry elements for driveways, walkways, patios, retaining walls, and related projects.

This role requires physical strength, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities
Assist with job site preparation, including excavation, grading, and leveling.
Help install base materials, bedding sand, and edge restraints.
Support the installation of pavers, brick, and natural stone according to design plans.
Assist with cutting and fitting materials for clean, precise finishes.
Help compact surfaces and apply joint sand or other finishing materials.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
Follow company safety standards and procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
Work efficiently to meet project timelines and deadlines.

Requirements
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn the masonry trade.
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor.
Ability to work outdoors on exterior projects in varying weather conditions.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Dependable and punctual.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
